AB Superintendent Chosen:
At the AB Transitional School Committee meeting on Saturday, January 25, the Committee voted unanimously to appoint Glenn Brand as ABRSD Superintendent effective July 1, pending contract negotiations between Mr. Brand and the School Committee. Mr. Brand is currently the assistant superintendent in Sharon, MA. We look forward to welcoming him to our community. Thank you to all who provided input to this very important process. 

AB Superintendent Finalists:
We are pleased to announce the finalists for the AB Superintendent position to begin July 1, 2014. Read the Press Release for details. Each finalist will visit the District for a series of Community Forums from 7:00-8:00 pm in the R.J. Grey Junior High Library, as follows:

 Glen Brand on Thursday, January 16
 Marie Altieri on Tuesday, January 21
 Brett Kustigian on Thursday, January 23

On Saturday, January 25, the AB Transitional School Committee will hold a public meeting to interview each of the finalists. This meeting will run from 9:00am to approximately 3:00pm in the Junior High Library. After the interviews, the Committee will discuss the finalists and plan to vote a decision. Medical Emergency Response Plan: Under Massachusetts law, school committees must ensure that every school under their jurisdiction have a Medical Emergency Response Plan to reduce the incidence of life-threatening emergencies and to promote efficient response to such emergencies. more
